"La tela en blanco me introduce en un estado inconsciente, me lleva a relacionarme con mi interior y observo la influencia de lo externo, la espátula es una gran compania en el momento de comenzar la obra, que definitivamente es un transe entre el principio y el fin, los colores se distribuyen en los planos que de golpe mi estado consciente me lleva a tomar el pincel y formar otra paleta. El proceso es una experimentación constante cada cuadro es una estructura nueva, cada pincelada delimita los diversos estados inconscientes del momento en el que me sumerjo en la tela en blanco, y la influencia de cada momento es una experiencia nueva. Mi obra es xperimental, esta en movimiento constante"


SABERES SOBRE EL ARTE



Alejandra MENA, artista plástica nacida en 1980 en Buenos Aires.

Comienza a interiorizarse en el mundo artístico alrededor de 1995, año en el que ingresa al Instituto Vocacional de Arte Labarden, donde experimenta por primera vez con el material artístico. Años mas tarde integra las filas de la Escuela Nacional de Bellas Artes Manuel Belgrano, donde desarrolla sus conocimientos sobre el campo del lenguaje plástico y la historia del arte.

Desde el año 2002 realiza talleres de pintura orientado a adultos, jóvenes y niños.

Al año siguiente realiza su primera exposición, presentando la serie: Auténtica en Casa Joven de Palermo. Ejerce curaduría en el Centro Cultural barrial de Caballito. También dicta talleres de dibujo orientados a jóvenes y niños en la Dirección General de Museos. Expone en la muestra colectiva Libros de artistas y objetos en Domince.

En el año 2004 participa en la 2da Feria Urbana, organizado por Amigos de las artes (Gobierno de la Ciudad de Bs. As.), en el área artes plásticas. En el mismo año participa en la exposición colectiva Hasta la victoria stencil, en el Centro Cultural Recoleta.

En el 2005 participa en la producción del evento Periférica, encuentro de nuevas tendencias y lenguajes de arte contemporáneo, en el Centro Cultural Borges.

Al año siguiente es convocada a formar parte del libro Diccionario Internacional de Arte y Literatura Contemporánea, editado en España, realizado y coordinado por el artista plástico, escritor y crítico independiente Francisco Arroyo Ceballos y José Manuel Nogueira Nogueira. Aquel refiriéndose a su obra “… nos refleja una lucha por mostrar, por la transmisión necesaria que la autora siente de enviar sus sentimientos y emociones, sus “momentos” y estados de ánimo, su lucha ante la vida”[1]. El mismo año participa de la muestra colectiva Papper Submission en la galería Appetite, del barrio de San Telmo y en el 18° Aniversario de la galería Forma, Palermo.

En el año 2008 participa de la muestra colectiva Salón de verano en la galería Braque, de Belgrano. El mismo año realiza su muestra individual Reflejos, en la cual expone su serie, en el hostel Vi luz y entré en el barrio de Congreso, en el 2009 realiza una una muestra individual, con sus ultimos trabajos ¨Mis Mujeres¨, en su propio espacio cultural. Multiespacioexperimental.Tambien formo parte de la organización de, Expo-Artista 2009.

En el 2010 , es invitada por la secretaria de cultura, educación y deporte, del Municipio de Lanús.
¨Muestra colectiva de artistas plásticos¨
En octubre del 2010 queda seleccionada, con una obra, de su seria ¨Mis mujeres¨ ,para formar parte de la muestra colectiva del evento, ¨la noche de los museos¨ en canal 7 de Capítal Federal.
En el 2011 expone en el museo de Bellas Artes de la Ciudad de Paraná en la muestra ¨Muestra internacional de Arte Correo¨organizada por el INADI

Shipments from Argentina, Colombia or Cuba need of a special authorization for the exportation of artworks, so it is important to have this into account when calculating the delivery date.


Bear in mind we are dealing with works of art, so they may be in an exhibition (actually, this is awesome!). Those artworks which are in an exhibition are usually displayed as “non-available”. In case the artwork has been put up for sale, take into account the artist would have to manage with the organization of the exhibition the return of the artwork in order to be able to realize the shipment.
